ABSTRACT
Background: Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome [ARDS] is a severe medical condition that should be addressed for more researches and studies since it is associated with high rate of morbidity and mortality. Methods: In this work we have gone through various studies related to this topic. We have clearly discussed pathophysiology with clinical manifestations of this condition. Discussion: A comparative study of various researchers in a patient centered approach gives as detailed analysis on this topic.
