ABSTRACT
Parquetina nigrescens (Asclepiadacee) is a plant of Ivorian medicinal flora. It is traditionally used in the treatment of diabetes, high blood pressure, diarrhea, and anemia, etc. The objective of this study is to evaluate the hypoglycemic and hepatoprotective effects of the total aqueous extract (ETAq) of this plant.
