ROLE OF APAMARGAKSHARA TAILA UTTARABASTI IN MANAGEMENT OF VANDHYATVA W.S.R. TO TUBAL BLOCKAGE- A CASE STUDY

ABSTRACT
Infertility is defined as the inability of a couple to achieve conception after one year of regular unprotected coitus. Conception depends on fertility potential of both male and female partner. The female is directly responsible in about 40-50%, the male in 30-40%, both are responsible in 10% cases and remaining 10% is unexplained in spite of thorough investigations with modern technical knowhow. Among the responsible factors in female tubal factor is the 25-35%. Advance tubal surgery is available in now a days but Uttarabasti - a one of the verity of Panchakarma has been seen a miracle result in tubal blockage which is also safer and cost effective. Here, an effort was made to treat a 38 years old female patients, desire to conceive after active married life of 8 years and had history of left side p/o from distal end tubal block, right side delayed spillage from fimbrial end, p/o some adhesion at fimbrial end in HSG (Hysterosalpingography). For treatment of such peculiar condition, a clinical evaluation by Apamargakshara Taila Uttarabasti was done for three consecutive menstrual cycles. After three months of procedures, bilateral patent fallopian tube seen in HSG.
