ABSTRACT
This work was conducted after reporting a 2 months of poor storage conditions of temperature and humidity in some pharmacies during power outage on summer 2014 which led us to evaluate and compare the influence of different temperature and relative humidity on physical properties of four different Paracetamol tablets available in Tripoli area pharmacies after 2 months of storage under normal and extreme storage conditions. The extreme storage conditions studied were, at temperatures of 37 C0 and 45 C0 with 75% and 100% relative humidity for each temperature over a period of two months, and the evaluated properties included; physical appearance, weight variation, hardness, friability, disintegration time and dissolution rate. The results generally showed that these storage conditions for 2 months had no pronounced effect on the evaluated pharmaceutical properties.
