ANTIVIRAL PROPERTIES OF NEEM

ABSTRACT

NEEM (Azadirachta indica) is an rapidly growing evergreen plant of an India.It generally founds in many countries such as Africa, America, India. It contains many medicinal values and some biological activities like use in the treatment of anti allergic, anti dermatic, anti viral, anti malarial,anti fungal and anti bacterial. Neem tree contains some active compound such as nimbin, nimbiolide limbolide, gedunine, azadirachtin. Neem plays role as free radical scavenging properties due to rich source of anti oxidant.Neem plays an important role for the cleansing of acne, blemishes, pimples from the skin. Neem leaves are used for the various types of preparations such as gel, face pack, face wash, neem oil, neem soap. In these review article I am preaparing I am preparing face pack of neem which contains various useful ingredients such as aloe vera, orange peel, sandal wood, bentonite etc. Neem tree contains 4 parts such as bark, leaf, fruits, flowers, seeds together play an important biological activities.
