ABSTRACT

Ayurveda is an ancient medical science. There are eight branches of Ayurveda.
Agadtantra and Vyavhar ayurved is special branch of ayurveda having its own importance.[1]

Keywords: In ancient times, in Kautilya's Arthashastra, Adhikaran 4 named Kantak Shodhanam, states that doctors (vaidya) should face consequences for negligence i.e. doctor should be punished for his negligence.
