COMMUNITY AWARENESS PROGRAMS AND THE INTEGRATIVE ROLE OF HOMEOPATHY IN THE PREVENTION AND MANAGEMENT OF ANAEMIA AND BLOOD DISORDERS: A PUBLIC HEALTH PERSPECTIVE
Dr. A. K. Dwivedi*
ABSTRACT
Anaemia and chronic blood disorders continue to pose a significant public health burden in developing nations, particularly in India. Nutritional deficiencies, genetic disorders, recurrent infections, and lack of awareness contribute substantially to morbidity and reduced quality of life. Community-based awareness programs have emerged as effective tools for early detection, prevention, and health education. Alongside conventional medical approaches, homeopathy has been increasingly explored as a supportive and individualized system of medicine aimed at improving general health, immunity, and quality of life in patients suffering from chronic blood-related disorders. This article discusses the importance of public awareness initiatives related to anaemia, thalassaemia, aplastic anaemia, sickle cell disease, and nutritional deficiencies. It also explores the possible supportive role of individualized homeopathic treatment in integrative healthcare settings. The article highlights the social and educational work carried out by Dr. A.K. Dwivedi through awareness campaigns, educational seminars, free health camps, and community outreach programs in central India.
