REVIEW ON DIABETES AND IT'S TARGETS AND THEIR PREVENTION

ABSTRACT
The present review article, an attempt was made to present an overview of diabetes mellitus. A persistently elevated blood sugar level is a hallmark of diabetes mellitus (DM), a subtype of insulin resistance syndrome. Diabetes is not a contagious disease. We can say Insulin dependent disorder. 387 million people worldwide and 28 million in the US suffer from diabetes, a costly illness. Diabetes management is difficult in India for a number of reasons, such as the disease's increasing prevalence in both urban and rural regions, the public's ignorance of it, the lack of adequate healthcare facilities, the high expense of treatment, inadequate glycaemic control, and the rise in diabetic complications. Insulin therapy for diabetes is most commonly delivered via subcutaneous injections, up to four times a day This article focuses on the, Classification of Diabetes Mellitus, Some Common Sign and Symptoms, etiology, cause, Diagnosis, treatment on Diabetes Mellitus. The article mainly focus on identify potential therapeutic targets for the management of diabetes mellitus.
