ABSTRACT
Neurological disorders among young adults are often underdiagnosed due to subtle or non-specific symptoms. Early detection through systematic neurological assessments can play a vital role in identifying risk factors and initiating timely interventions. This study aimed to evaluate the neurological status of young adults in Guntur through a prospective cross-sectional approach, identifying prevalent neurological signs, symptoms, and potential risk factors. A total of 206 young adults aged 18–30 years were enrolled from educational institutions and community settings in Guntur. Standardized neurological assessment tools and clinical evaluation methods were employed. Data on personal, medical, and lifestyle history were collected to identify associated risk factors. Preliminary findings revealed that 10% of participants exhibited at least one neurological abnormality, with the most common being headaches, tremors, or motor coordination issues. A significant correlation was observed between lifestyle factors such as sleep deprivation, screen time, and neurological symptoms. The study highlights the importance of routine neurological assessments in young adults for early detection of potential disorders. It emphasizes the need for public health strategies focused on lifestyle modification and awareness in the Guntur population.
