ABSTRACT
In the present work, the novel derivative of substituted stilbene was synthesized from phenylacetic acid and substituted benzaldehyde and screened for their in-vitro anti-cancer activity against A375 cell line by MTT assay. The synthesized compounds were characterized by IR, 1H-NMR and Mass analyzer. The results revealed that all synthesized compounds 1a, 2b, 3c, 4d & 5e have a more anti-cancer activity due to presence of nitro and methoxy group.
Keywords: Stilbene, anti-cancer, A375 cell line.
